Datuk J.L. Solomon, is the Executive Chairman of NGTS Group of Companies.

Datuk J.L. Solomon has more than 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He began his career with Sapura Telecommunications. Armed with a wealth of expertise and experience, Datuk J.L. Solomon spearheads the group amongst his other business interests. His sharp business acumen for acquisitions and mergers has been a telling factor in positioning the company as quality driven and service-oriented.

Through his personal involvement, Datuk J.L. Solomon has established strong business relationship with his clients, who among others include Telekom Malaysia, DiGi Telecommunications, Binariang, TIME Telecommunications and Celcom. His marketing and corporate skills along with Orbit Network’s close association with its principal, ECI Telecom Inc, now known as Veraz Networks Inc. has been instrumental in achieving a competitive monopoly advantage in the area of compression equipment for the local telecommunications industry.

Datuk J.L. Solomon is also an associate of Jaksa Pendamai Negeri Melaka, Majlis Datuk-Datuk Negeri Melaka, the State Government and Istana Melaka.

Datin Janet Raj is the founding Director of the NGTS Group of Companies.

Datin Janet, is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Management and has vast experience in the general insurance industry having served for more than 15 years with a leading Insurance Company. Her various tasks included the areas of Administration, Finance and Claims Assessment in the insurance industry.

Her migration to NGTS Group in operations in 2000 from being merely a Non Executive Director earlier to the Director of Finance & Administration has resulted in the smooth operation of NGTS Group of Companies while introducing various system and processes as the group expanded its operations after going global and moving aggressively in other areas of expertise.

Ganesan Thambipillay
Chief Operating Officer
 

Ganesan is the COO for NGT Solutions (M) Sdn Bhd, a telecommunication company offering innovative solutions, which include installation, testing, commissioning, link establishments and training. With a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida, Ganesan has spent the past 24 years accruing a wide range of experience as he swiftly advanced in his field.

Specializing in project and program management, Technology sales and business development, Ganesan joined NGT Solutions as a true asset to their team. Ganesan utilizes a broad spectrum of talents as he plans, prioritizes and manages complex programs within ideal time efficiencies. Drawing on strong interpersonal communication, Ganesan is highly regarded for his ability to build relationships both internally with staff and externally with multinational corporations, executives and management teams.

Ganesan is affiliated with PMI and volunteers his time as he sits on the committees of two distinguished clubs. In his free time, Ganesan enjoys playing tennis, listening to audiophile music and tinkering with European cars.

Prior to NGTS, Ganesan was with DiGi Telecommunications as their Head of Technology Development and prior to that he spent over 12 years with DHL’s Global Information Services in Asia-Pacific and Europe.
 

Zainal Ariffin Zakaria is the Head of Sales & Marketing of NGTS

A graduate of Indiana State University, USA, he specializes in Technology and Special Projects related Sales and Marketing.

He brings to NGTS over 14 years experience in Technology based business encompassing Government, Telecommunications and Enterprise sector including the Oil & Gas Industry.

Zainal is responsible in ensuring sales targets are met based on NGTS approved business agenda, plans and directions.

Gweneth Fernandez is the Head of Administration & Finance of NGTS Group of Companies since 2001.

Gweneth obtained her degree, BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Abertay Dundee, United Kingdom. She also holds a London Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) Diploma in Accounting and Finance from the University of London.

Gweneth brings with her more than 8 years of experience in the field of accounting, finance and administration & operations, kicking off her career in the property industry, heading the finance and accounting division at Top Systems Sdn Bhd.

She later joined the transportation industry at Hecny Transportation Sdn Bhd and then moved on to join Acorn Communications Sdn Bhd for 2 years where she was one of the pioneer staff responsible for all corporate, administration, operations and accounting matters. In NGTS Group she is responsible for the smooth day to day operations, administration and assists the Senior Vice President / Director in the area of accounting and finance.

Chan Hock Mun, Augustine
Head of Technical Services & Development

Augustine Chan, manages the daily technical operations as Head, Technical Services and Development division.

Augustine holds a Higher Diploma in Electrical and Electronic and a Post Graduate Diploma majoring in Computer Base Information Systems from the University of Sunderland.

Prior to joining NGTS, Augustine worked for several other companies namely, Bridge Media Gate (M) Sdn Bhd, Guanri Telecommunication (M) Sdn Bhd, Johnson Controls (M) Sdn Bhd, and has handled the full technical functions of the telecommunication industry which include from presales support, implementation, customization, project management, user training, help desk management to research & development of principal / partner’s products.

Augustine brings with him more than 10 years of experience in the IT and telecommunication industry with further technical training and accreditation from ECI Telecom. He also possesses telecommunications skills and knowledge in data transmission, compression, access and data networking, packet switching, wireless communications, least cost routing, IP and ISDN systems.
