Pre Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and communicate clearly sales targets and objectives for sales team and each channel that support the overall sales targets and objectives
  • Perform regular monitoring and review with the sales team and respective channel on overall performance
  • Formulation of the overall sales direction and strategies to ensure overall annual sales targets and objectives are achieved
  • Ensure sale strategies are properly executed by the sales team and respective channel on timely basis
  • Ensure Sub-Units within Sales and Channel Development are functioning properly and effectively according to their scope
  • Establish policies and procedures for the overall sales and each respective channel
  • Motivate and develop people within the unit
  • Identify new business opportunities to establish the sales pipeline, negotiate and secure new customers to enhance and diversify revenue base of the company
  • Prepare, coordinate and finalize proposals with the corresponding user requirements, business model, costing and quotations, including the preparation of presentation slides
  • Undertake market research and analysis on competitors, pricing, market trend, relevant business models, propose marketing strategies that will support the business development and sales functions with the end objective of enhancing sales
  • Assist the General Manager to develop strategic partnerships and alliances with third party service providers to enhance existing product service offerings with the primary objective of enhancing and diversifying revenue base of the company

Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketing / IT / Telecommunications
  • At least 3 years of sales working experience
  • Experience in selling telecommunication equipment to Telcos
  • Possess knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VPN, ), network security and a good working knowledge on the Window Operating System and the Sun Servers Operating System would be an added advantage
  • Possess knowledge related to Huawei, Veraz Networks/ ZTE products.
  • Good planning and business presentation skills
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Good command in English. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage
  • Bilingual in English & Mandarin
  • Planning and involves taking the lead role in determining the process capability for the proposed solution prior to customer presentation
