But she wanted them so we got her a pair as a gift.Within a month one shoe no longer lights up and she's embarrassed to wear them now.The thing is, she got a pair of Heelies from her gran, also for her birthday, and she ALWAYS lifted the Heelies to put on first, so I would recommend you get your kids those, rather than light-up shoes that only light up for a few weeks.They should, at the very least, have a battery compartment you can get into to replace the batteries, seems ludicrous to sell something as expensive as this with such a woeful design flaw.Updated to add: my daughter now refuses to wear these because they don't light up. So, what was supposed to be a fun birthday gift has turned into an expensive waste of money.AVOID!
no problem with the sneakers,just the fit! i bought these for my granddaughters 7th birthday and she has size 13.5 feet. ordered this size and they are huge!! should have listened to some of the other review's,which stated this!!! decided to keep them as they are stunning, the picture doesnt do them justic Frankfort h the reviews of them coming up smaller. They fit but by the ned of the day had blistered my heals and they had made my toes sore so must be just a bit too small when you feet get warm. I think a size 5 would have been too big. They have gone in the bin what a shame as I was looking forward to having them in my sketcher collection. Would have been smart enough to wear to work with black trousers as they look like a loafer ;-(
Shoes was large. Had to buy insoles. However, I live them. Very very comfy. Did exactly what they m kiteboard kitesurfing gear intless. The illustrations are fun, but tell us nothing, there's no detail and the clothes could be anything. There too many celebrity comments and not enough really helpful information. There's not much here that any fashion magazine reader wouldn't know already. Very disappointing.
Absolutely beautifully composed book. The illustrations in my opinion were more than enough to portray the styles, items and people discussed. Hilariously written, as Alyson always is, and brimming with witty anecdotes and funny yet inspirational quotes. The book is handbag sized, a www.martiblair.com sed as a gift for my football mad son, but it has done the trick with keeping his boots clean
I have found this very useful for cleaning walking shoes and outdoor trail trainers which have got very muddy recently. I'm sure you can managed with a stick and a bristle brush but this is plastic so can be washed easily itself when you've finished. I used an old washing up bowl with soapy water to dip the paw into and the shoes came up a treat. The only downside is that, being a novice at this sort of thing, I got sprayed with muddy splatters as I cleaned!
Ok, so this does the job I suppose. It gets the big chunks of mud off my rugby boots before heading into the changing rooms but it takes a bit of work as the bristles are quite small (not as much work as before I had this mind). The boots were very good for the price, but as I used it everyday for almost three months, they are over now. So I would only recommend if you don't expect it to last for years.

Don't usually write reviews, but had to this time- first to say these are really comfortable, but also to share sizing info to help others. I'm usually a size 6, but had to send these back and exchange for size 5. Much better fit and still room for sports socks. Looking forward to wearing them on an upcoming city break, and long summer walks without the dog - (not as selfish as it sounds; my gorgeous pooch is old now and can only do short ones!)
I've been looking for this color for ages and now I've found it. Even cheaper than the regular vans!! Fits perfectly and it's Babyliss Pro rouble with them try putting them on the opposite way instead.I bought a few pairs for presents and kept a pair for myself. This morning, I went to visit a man who lives alone without transport and took them off when I went into his home. He asked so many questions about them and admired them so much I gave them to him and told him I would get myself more. I wore these a couple of times and they seemed effective, though a bit annoying as you have to take them off when you go anywhere with a sensitive floor. Unfortunately they fell off in moderately deep snow on the way to the bus, I had thought they were secure, and I only realised once I was on the bus they were missing. I subsequently bought a pair of Yaktrax which have proved very good, you can wear them on any floors, and you can leave them on your boots.

These Vans slip ons are just perfect for work and play. I bought the Chillie/Blk ones which go with pretty much my entire wardrobe as they are black/grey/red in colour. They are super comfy and make a nice change from my Sketchers Shape-ups which I have been wearing lately. I have long been a fan of the canvas style trainer and usually buy Converse but these little beauties might just become my new favourite shoe!

A simple functional slip on, in plain black, reasonably comfertable.They have a thickened bar around the top edge of the ankle fitting which is better for narrow ankles, but it is a .
hindi english hindi small bar and the thickening quickly softens up to accomodate the ankle.The stretch around the edges of the top panel are quite good.The sole is a resin coloured markless sole, although the black edges of the sole that hide the resin coloured section, can leave marks on the floor of scrapped along it during rapid motion.Sizes were well sized comparitive to other shoes.All in all a good functional slip on that worked for what I wanted it for, and shows no signs of wear and tear after about a week of use.
These's classic van slip on's are great. Comfortable to wear, looks good, arrived in excellent condition, would buy from seller again. Also you must order one size up, for them to fit.

Not really a trainer. Not really a walking shoe. Certainly not smart enough for work, unless you work in IT. But they are comfortable, study, well made, quietly stylish and go well with jeans. The premise of this book - that baby-boomers are now reaching 60 +, and need new style guidelines and beauty advice that doesn't rely on Botox, facelifts, etc. - is excellent. The author describes the various 'style tribes' that women our age can belong to, from bohemian (mine) to 'gentlewoman', and interviews several women on their signature style, and how they arrived at it. This part is good. In fact, the text is well written and interesting, and I really wanted to give this book five stars. But what spoils it for me is the lack of photographs. Not one photo in the whole book, except for the 'author snapshot' at the back! In a book on style, this lack is appalling.Instead of photos, we get childish line drawings which show cartoonish versions of women wearing vario.
